Goff finished 20-of-28 with 236 passing yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. On first review, he made two big-time throws and no turnover-worthy plays.
Defensive spotlight: Lions defensive lineman Aidan Hutchinson had a takeover type of performance against the Panthers.

The interceptions above was one of a few plays where his presence was a major difference-maker. He finished the game with one interception, one sack and two tackles for loss.
Rookie spotlight: It was another rough game for Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young. He played better in the second half, but the contest was out of reach for most of that time. He went 25-of-41 with 247 passing yards, three passing touchdowns and two interceptions, making two big-time throws but also two turnover-worthy plays on first review.
