The Cincinnati Bengals traveled to Arizona to pick up a much-needed win against the Cardinals to move to 2-3 on the season.
Offensive spotlight: The Bengals offense seemingly got back on track in this game thanks to a heavy reliance on star wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase, who saw 19 targets thrown his way, leading to 15 receptions for 192 yards and three touchdowns. Joe Burrow also had his most efficient game of the year, going 36-of-46 for 317 yards and three passing touchdowns. Burrow ranked 32nd in the league in completion percentage coming into this game at 57.6% after failing to exceed a 66.7% completion rate in any of his previous games this season. Burrow completed 78.3% of his passes in this game, which should help him climb up from the bottom of those rankings after this week.
Cardinals’ starting quarterback Josh Dobbs threw for two touchdown passes but struggled in the game as a whole. Dobbs also threw two interceptions and went just 15-of-32 for 166 yards.
Defensive spotlight: Bengals cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt came up with the biggest defensive play of the game while the team was trailing near the end of the first half. Taylor-Britt picked off Dobbs at the Arizona 11-yard line and turned it around for a touchdown to give the Bengals the lead to close out the half. Taylor-Britt posted two passes defensed in this game.

Rookie spotlight: Bengals rookie safety Jordan Battle has only been a part-time player in his rookie year, and that continued this week. Battle was able to make an impact with his opportunities, however, leading the team with two passes defended.
