The Buffalo Bills ran away with one of the most one-sided victories in recent memory, beating the Pittsburgh Steelers 38-3 in Week 5.
Offensive spotlight: A deep touchdown at the start of the game set the tone, and Gabriel Davis ended the game with a Randy Moss-esque stat line of three catches for 171 yards and two touchdowns. He gained over 5.0 yards per route run.
Defensive spotlight: Still without T.J. Watt, the Steelers defense wasn’t able to sack Josh Allen once all game. In fact, they didn’t even knock him down in a pass-rushing situation.
Rookie spotlight: Bills first-round cornerback Kaiir Elam had an eventful day in the secondary. He snagged an interception on an ill-advised Kenny Pickett pass, but he also gave up over 100 receiving yards on eight catches from 11 targets.
Offensive line spotlight: Pittsburgh’s offensive line survived its encounter with the best pass-rush in the NFL allowing minimal pressure, but Kenny Pickett averaged just over 2.0 seconds per dropback, which is a huge factor in that success.
