Offensive spotlight: Though his day wasn’t anything special on the stat sheet, Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield gets the nod for offensive spotlight for playing through pain to get his team the win. Mayfield finished the game 20-for-32 with 137 passing yards and 9 rushing yards.
Defensive Spotlight: Buccaneers safety Antoine Winfield Jr. was the defensive player of the game thanks to his touchdown-saving tackle in the first half. Winfield finished the game with five tackles, a forced fumble and a sack.

Rookie spotlight: It was a tough season for Panthers rookie quarterback Bryce Young, and it was a tough final game to close things out, too. He finished the contest with just 94 yards passing and 24 yards rushing with no touchdowns.
