The Buffalo Bills survived a tough battle with the New England Patriots to win their first game since Damar Hamlin‘s on-field cardiac arrest, ending with a 35-23 victory.
Offensive spotlight: Stefon Diggs once again tormented the Patriots, catching seven of the 10 passes thrown his way for 104 yards and a touchdown. Diggs averaged 3.25 yards per route run, and passes sent his way generated a 137.1 passer rating.
Defensive spotlight: Tre’Davious White had arguably his best game since returning from injury. He allowed just one catch for 10 yards and tallied an interception.
Rookie spotlight: Rookie cornerback Kaiir Elam was beaten downfield by DeVante Parker for a touchdown and gave up 51 yards in total on three catches.
Offensive line spotlight: Josh Allen was under significant pressure during the game, with four of his five starting linemen giving up multiple pressures, one of which led directly to an interception in the red zone.
