The San Francisco 49ers were the second team on the scoreboard against the Arizona Cardinals but proved far too good for their division rival in Week 15, easing away to a 45-29 victory.
Offensive spotlight: Christian McCaffrey was once again unstoppable in all phases of the game on offense for the 49ers. He took 18 carries for 115 yards and a touchdown and added 72 yards and two more scores on five receptions. He averaged 4.2 yards after contact.
Defensive spotlight: With a final score of 45-29, there weren't many defensive standouts. 49ers cornerback Charvarius Ward recorded a pick-six of Kyler Murray to get the game rolling in San Francisco’s direction. He allowed just one catch for 15 yards into his coverage.
Rookie spotlight: It hasn’t always been an easy rookie year for tackle Paris Johnson Jr., but he had a good game against an elite defensive front this week. Pending grade review, Johnson allowed just one pressure, or a 2.9% pressure rate, against one of the better defensive lines he will face this season.
