The Las Vegas Raiders dismantled the Los Angeles Chargers 63-21 on Thursday night, thanks to a dominant performance that put this game beyond reach by halftime.
Offensive spotlight: Aidan O’Connell led the way for the Raiders, completing 20 of his 34 pass attempts for 248 yards and four touchdowns. O’Connell had thrown only four touchdowns through his seven appearances this season and made it look easy in this game.
Jakobi Meyers also had a big game, catching two passes for 39 yards and a touchdown while throwing a touchdown pass to Davante Adams. Adams led the Raiders in receiving yards with 101 on 12 targets and eight receptions.
In the first week without both Justin Herbert and Keenan Allen, the Chargers offense provided very few signs of life. Easton Stick completed 23-of-32 passes for 257 yards and three touchdowns. He also threw a pick-six and lost two fumbles. Joshua Palmer, who just returned from injured reserve, caught a wide-open 79-yard touchdown pass and totaled 113 receiving yards in his first game since Week 8.
Defensive spotlight: Third-year Raiders edge defender Malcolm Koonce has stepped into a much larger role this season after playing barely 100 defensive snaps over his first two years in the league. Koonce had a career-best game, delivering two sacks and two forced fumbles, one of which was returned for a touchdown by teammate John Jenkins.
Rookie spotlight: Raiders' third-round rookie wide receiver Tre Tucker caught two touchdowns in this game to go along with 59 yards receiving on three catches. Tucker’s two touchdowns in this game were the first of his NFL career.

The Raiders' other Day 2 rookie, tight end Michael Mayer, also found the end zone in this game to go along with 39 receiving yards. This was Mayer’s second-career receiving touchdown.
