Defensive Spotlight: Lions defensive back Ifeatu Melifonwu was all over the field tonight, impacting the game in a variety of ways. He finished with eight combined tackles, a sack, a forced fumble, two passes defended and two quarterback hits.

Rookie spotlight: The Lions had two rookies, Sam LaPorta and Jahmyr Gibbs, who could easily have been the rookie spotlight player, as each had multi-touchdown performances. But we’ll give it to LaPorta for his three touchdowns over Gibbs’ two. The first-year tight end finished the game with 56 receiving yards and three touchdowns on five catches.
