NFL Week 14 Game Recap: Dallas Cowboys 33, Philadelphia Eagles 13

The Dallas Cowboys looked completely unfazed at home against the NFC East-leading Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night. 

The Cowboys thoroughly outplayed the Eagles for most of the night, with Dak Prescott sharp enough to keep pace with the MVP race and the defense forcing three turnovers.

Dallas improves to 10-3 and jumps into the second seed in the NFC. Philadelphia drops to 10-3 and falls to the fifth seed.

Offensive spotlight: Despite the result, A.J. Brown put on another solid performance, catching nine of his 12 targets for a game-high 94 receiving yards and five first downs. Two of his catches went for 15 or more yards, and he secured his only contested target, according to PFF's first-run analysis. 

There are a couple of plays Brown would want to have back, though, as he also dropped a pass and coughed up a fumble early in the third quarter.

Defensive spotlight: There were a number of standout defensive performances in this game, but the nod has to go to veteran cornerback Stephon Gilmore.

Targeted a whopping 12 times on the night, Gilmore surrendered nine catches for 103 total yards, but just four of those catches moved the chains. He produced three defensive stops and eight solo tackles, and he made one of the plays of the game when he stripped A.J. Brown of the football to start the second half.

Rookie spotlight: According to PFF's first review of the game film, Eagles interior defender Jalen Carter was held without a quarterback pressure for the first time in his young career. He likely won't mind, though, as he took advantage of a Dak Prescott fumble to add a fumble-return touchdown to his Defensive Rookie of the Year case.
