NFL Week 12 Game Recap: Pittsburgh Steelers 16, Cincinnati Bengals 10

The Pittsburgh Steelers took down the Cincinnati Bengals, 16-10, on the road in Week 12 to move to 7-4 on the year.

It took until early in the second quarter, but Chris Boswell opened the scoring with a 41-yard field goal. The Bengals hit back immediately, with Jake Browning finding Drew Sample for an 11-yard touchdown.

Najee Harris’ five-yard score near the end of the third quarter put the Steelers back on top, and a 34-yard field goal from Chris Boswell midway through the fourth quarter built a six-point cushion.

Boswell connected from 33 yards out to put the Steelers up by two scores, but the Bengals got back within six on a 47-yard field goal from Evan McPherson shortly after. That was as close as they would get, however, with the Steelers recovering the ensuing onside kick to close it out.

Offensive spotlight: Kenny Pickett had an efficient game for the Steelers, going 24-of-33 for 278 yards. Tight end Pat Freiermuth was his favorite target, picking up 120 yards on nine catches, while George Pickens and Diontae Johnson combined for 108 yards.

Defensive spotlight: T.J. Watt had another big performance, adding a pair of sacks to his season total. He also forced a fumble and finished the game with five solo tackles.

Rookie spotlight: Steelers cornerback Joey Porter Jr. had another solid outing and recorded a pass breakup, while edge defender Nick Herbig notched a sack.
