The Los Angeles Rams traveled to Arizona in Week 12 and swept the season series against the Cardinals. The Rams, 37-14 victors, have now won four of five games against the NFC West this season.

Offensive spotlight: Kyren Williams returned to the lineup after a four-game absence and didn’t miss a beat. He ran the ball 16 times for 143 yards and also added six receptions for 61 yards and two receiving touchdowns. Royce Freeman delivered a strong outing on the ground, too, with 77 rushing yards and a touchdown. Matthew Stafford threw four touchdowns on the day to go along with 229 passing yards. While Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua had quieter days on the stat sheet, it was Tutu Atwell who led the team in receiving yards (76) on just three targets. Tight end Tyler Higbee added two receiving touchdowns on five receptions.

Kyler Murray ran in a touchdown and threw for a score. Murray racked up 256 yards on 27-of-45 passing, though a lot of that production came while the game was well in hand for the Rams. Murray had limited help on offense, as James Conner was the team’s leading rusher with just 27 yards. Meanwhile, Marquise Brown paced the Cardinals with 88 receiving yards, seeing 12 targets and bringing in six of them.

Defensive spotlight: Cardinals safety Jalen Thompson was one of the few bright spots for the Arizona defense. He came up with an interception of Stafford while the game was still relatively close near the end of the first half. Thompson was, unofficially, targeted five times, allowing just two receptions for 12 total yards. He is likely going to finish with one of the better coverage grades from this game. Thompson owns a 74.0 coverage grade this season, which ranked 17th among safeties coming into this game.

Rookie spotlight: Third-round rookie defensive tackle Kobie Turner matched his season total of two sacks with a couple in this game, bringing him up to four on the year. Turner also notched four defensive stops, pending final reviews, to lead the team in that regard.
