NFL Week 12 Game Recap: Denver Broncos 29, Cleveland Browns 12

The Denver Broncos kept their hot streak alive with a conclusive 29-12 victory over the Cleveland Browns at home in Week 12.

Offensive spotlight: Russell Wilson’s stats weren’t spectacular, but he consistently made plays at critical times against one of the best defenses in the NFL. Wilson averaged just 6.1 yards per attempt and completed only 13 of his 22 attempts, but he suffered through three drops — including a dropped touchdown from Courtland Sutton. Wilson also carried the ball 11 times for 32 yards and a touchdown, moving the chains three times on the ground.

Defensive spotlight: Myles Garrett’s Defensive Player of the Year campaign suffered a setback as he was noticeably hampered by an injury in the game. Instead, it was Denver’s pass rush that showed up in a big way, particularly late in the game. Nik Bonitto led both teams in pressures and, pending grade review, had a 33.3% pass-rush win rate.

Rookie spotlight: Browns quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson was playing well before a big hit by Baron Browning sent him to the sideline with a concussion. His stats weren’t great, but he also suffered from three drops. The rookie made multiple impressive throws before being knocked out of the game.
