NFL Week 11 Game Recap: Philadelphia Eagles 21, Kansas City Chiefs 17

They didn't make it easy for themselves, especially on offense, but the Philadelphia Eagles got a small slice of revenge for Super Bowl 57, beating the Kansas City Chiefs 21-17 to cap off Week 11 of the 2023 NFL season.

Conditions were difficult in rainy Kansas City, which may be part of the reason for several costly mistakes made by the Chiefs' offense. Star tight end Travis Kelce, who is so often the hero, lost a fumble early in the quarter, while Justin Watson dropped a would-be game-winner with mere seconds left on the clock. 

The Eagles came away with the win, but the Chiefs will know they had every opportunity to put this one away.

Offensive spotlight: Eagles receiver DeVonta Smith caught all six of his catchable targets for 99 receiving yards and four first downs. Two of those receptions went for 15 or more yards, with passes thrown his way netting a 116.1 passer rating.

Defensive spotlight: Chiefs cornerback L'Jarius Sneed rose to the challenge in a losing effort. Targeted six times in coverage, he allowed just two catches for 13 yards and came away with an interception and two forced incompletions.

Rookie spotlight: Eagles interior defender Jalen Carter added another three quarterback hurries to his pressure total on Monday night, taking him to 32 on the year, pending grade review. Carter's 18.8% pass-rush win rate on the year now ranks behind only Aaron Donald (20.8%) and Dexter Lawrence (20.0%).
