The Indianapolis Colts outlasted the New England Patriots in a low-scoring affair to wrap up the NFL’s 2023 slate of games in Europe.
Offensive spotlight: Mac Jones was benched at quarterback for the Patriots, having gone 15-for-20 for 170 yards. Bailey Zappe replaced him but went just three-for-seven for 25 yards. Both players had bad interceptions.
Defensive spotlight: The story of the day for the Colts defense was the plays they were able to make to get over the finish line. Dayo Odeyingbo had three sacks, Zaire Franklin forced a fumble and both Julian Blackmon and Rodney Thomas II had interceptions.
Rookie spotlight: Seventh-round rookie cornerback Jaylon Jones saw 69 snaps for the Colts on defense. He had his struggles in coverage but graded well against the run according to our first run grading.
