Tampa Bay Buccaneers sign WR Julio Jones

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed wide receiver Julio Jones to a one-year deal Tuesday, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Since 2011, Jones' 94.6 receiving grade ranks second among wide receivers
Other ranks since 2011:

Jones earned a 76.8 PFF grade in 2021, ranking 29th among qualified wide receivers.
Jones strung together five straight seasons with a PFF grade over 90 from 2015 to 2019. He’s earned an 85.5 PFF grade over the last two seasons while missing 14 games due to hamstring injuries.
The 33-year-old wide receiver has played over 500 snaps since 2019.
Jones also drew interest from the Green Bay Packers, per Schefter.

Jones joins Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Russell Gage, Jalen Darden and Tyler Johnson on the Buccaneers’ wide receiver depth chart.
Godwin is recovering from a torn ACL but avoided landing on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list to start training camp.
Jones' 76.8 PFF grade in 2021 was the second-highest, behind Godwin (79.4), among Tampa Bay's current receivers.
