Dallas Cowboys 27, Tennessee Titans 13
Offensive spotlight: Wide receiver T.Y. Hilton has already proven to be a valuable addition to the Cowboys offense. After picking up a crucial third-and-30 conversion in the victory against the Philadelphia Eagles last week, the former Indianapolis Colt continued to be a reliable weapon in big moments, finishing with four catches for 50 yards — converting three third downs into first downs. Hilton also forced a missed tackle to round a performance that earned a 75.0-plus grade on first review.
Defensive spotlight: Even though he's often overshadowed by Micah Parsons, Cowboys edge defender DeMarcus Lawrence put together another excellent performance on Thursday night. Not only did the veteran force a fumble, but he also picked up two pressures, two pass-rush wins that didn't generate a pressure, a 20.0% pass-rush win percentage, two batted passes and a run stop en route to an elite 90.0-plus grade on first review.
Titans safety Kevin Byard proved why he's a two-time All-Pro against the Cowboys, recording two interceptions and two run stops on his way to an 88.0-plus grade on first review. Byard's interceptions were the biggest reason why the Titans were able to keep the game competitive despite being vastly overmatched on paper.

Atlanta Falcons 20, Arizona Cardinals 19
Offensive spotlight: Rookie running back Tyler Allgeier had another strong day for the Falcons, carrying 20 times for 83 yards and a touchdown, 54 of which came after contact. Allgeier had six rushing first downs and broke three tackles.
Defensive spotlight: J.J. Watt registered another sack as he winds down his NFL career, but Markus Golden was the Cardinals' best pass-rusher. He had an 18.2% pass-rush win rate and matched Watt’s sack.

New England Patriots 23, Miami Dolphins 21
Offensive spotlight: Mac Jones has quietly been playing much better ball over the past few weeks than he did to start the season. He racked up four big-time throws against the Dolphins — the second-highest such figure of his career — and didn’t have a single turnover-worthy play on the day.
Defensive spotlight: This Patriots defense is rounding back into scary form with Christian Barmore‘s return to the interior of their defensive line. He wasn’t quite back to form in his first two games but put on a show against the Dolphins on Sunday. He led all players in the game with six pressures to match his career-high set last season.

New Orleans Saints 20, Philadelphia Eagles 10
Offensive spotlight: Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith was the standout player on offense in this one. He recorded 115 receiving yards, catching nine of his 13 targets. Smith had five first-down catches and three explosive plays of 15 yards or more.
Defensive spotlight: Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore earned the best overall grade on the day at 91.1 on first review. This was his first game back since October, and he made his mark with a pick-six. He did not allow a touchdown on the day and allowed only four catches for 33 yards and just one first down.

New York Giants 38, Indianapolis Colts 10
Offensive spotlight: Daniel Jones was efficient as a passer with a 79% completion percentage and an 87% adjusted completion percentage after accounting for dropped passes, spikes, throwaways, etc. He added 91 yards and two touchdowns on the ground with a touchdown on a designed run and a scramble.
Run Type | Carries | Yards | TDs |
Designed | 6 | 55 | 1 |
Scramble | 5 | 36 | 1 |
Defensive spotlight: While Indianapolis gave up 38 points as a team, it is worth pointing out linebacker Bobby Okereke’s efforts. Okereke was the first contact defender on a game-high nine defensive plays, making four tackles for loss or no gain and allowing just one first down in coverage on five targets. Okereke was charged with a penalty on a late hit on a sliding Jones, but he’ll likely be one of the highest-graded defenders in the game after final review.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 30, Carolina Panthers 24
Offensive spotlight: While quarterback Tom Brady could easily be the standout player today with over 400 yards passing and four total touchdowns, his go-to wide receiver, Mike Evans, had a career day. His 86.6 receiving grade was the best mark from either team on first review, thanks to his 207 receiving yards from12 targets and 10 catches. He also hauled in three touchdowns of 63, 57 and 30 yards.
Defensive spotlight: Buccaneers cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting had one of the best games of his season. He finished the contest with a 91.9 coverage grade. This came from only allowing 14 yards and one catch while also grabbing one interception.

Kansas City Chiefs 27, Denver Broncos 24
Offensive spotlight: Travis Kelce is the biggest focus of the Kansas City offense, but Kadarius Toney led the team with 71 receiving yards this week, catching all four targets sent his way. Toney averaged 4.7 yards per route run and had two explosive plays.
Defensive spotlight: Denver managed to almost eliminate Chris Jones as a factor in this game. Jones played 30 pass-rushing snaps and notched a pass-rush win rate of just 6.7%. Jones is typically one of the most dominant linemen in the league, so that’s a big win for the Broncos offense.

Detroit Lions 41, Chicago Bears 10
Offensive spotlight: You can’t pick a performance that was more indicative of Justin Fields’ second season than this one. He was electric every time he tucked and ran, racking up 132 yards on 10 carries — including a 60-yarder. That brings his season total to 1,143 rushing yards — currently sixth most in the NFL — and puts him within striking distance of Lamar Jackson’s quarterback record of 1,206 yards.
As a passer, though, it was a completely different story. He went 7-of-21 for only 75 yards with two turnover-worthy plays. And it was as ugly as the stats suggest. Fields will have better weapons next season, but he’s going to end 2022 with the lowest passing grade among full-time starters.
Defensive spotlight: Add five more pressures to the tally for No. 2 overall pick Aidan Hutchinson, giving him a rookie-leading 48 pressures on the season. That wasn’t the only way he made an impact, however, as Hutchinson secured his third interception on the season in a unique play toward the end of the first half that saw him line up as a Cover 2 cornerback. That was somehow his third interception on the season, which now ranks fourth among all rookies.

Jacksonville Jaguars 31, Houston Texans 3
Offensive spotlight: In a game where the Jaguars never really needed to get out of second gear, Travis Etienne reminded everyone of what he is capable of, producing the two longest plays from scrimmage for the Jaguars as a runner and receiver. He carried the ball nine times for 108 yards, including a 62-yard touchdown run in the second quarter, and caught all three targets thrown his way for 32 yards, including one that went for 30 yards.
Defensive spotlight: It was a busy day in coverage for Tyson Campbell of the Jaguars, seeing five passes thrown his way from 35 snaps in coverage. Just one resulted in a catch, though, and it went for only five yards. He also had a scoop-and-score fumble return in the second quarter.

San Francisco 49ers 37, Las Vegas Raiders 34
Offensive spotlight: Christian McCaffrey made all of his fantasy managers happy today. He rushed for 121 yards and a touchdown on just 19 carries, averaging 6.4 yards per attempt. It wouldn’t be a CMC masterclass without some production through the air, as well, and he duly caught six of his nine targets for 72 yards.
Defensive spotlight: For only the third time this season, Nick Bosa didn’t pick up a sack. However, his impact was still surely felt. The current Defensive Player of the Year favorite recorded eight pressures on 30 pass-rushing snaps on first review.

Defensive spotlight: Interior defensive lineman Solomon Thomas has struggled since being taken third overall by the San Francisco 49ers in 2017, but he’s been absolutely dominant over the last couple of weeks. His 92.9 grade since Week 16 leads all defenders. Thomas recorded a sack and three pressures against the Seahawks, posting a career-high 50% pass-rush win rate. He also came away with a tackle for loss and two run stops.

Los Angeles Chargers 31, Los Angeles Rams 10
Offensive spotlight: RB Austin Ekeler ran the ball just 10 times and saw just four targets in the passing game, but he was the star tonight. He racked up 122 rushing yards (12.2 YPC) and two scores, forcing two missed tackles along the way. He added 39 yards and two first downs as a pass-catcher to seal the deal for fantasy managers the nation over.

Pittsburgh Steelers 16, Baltimore Ravens 13
Offensive spotlight: Steelers QB Kenny Pickett wasn't asked to do all that much, but he was effective when he was asked to drop back, completing 15 of his 27 attempts for 168 yards and one touchdown. He recorded three big-time throws and didn't record a single turnover-worthy play in the win.
Defensive spotlight: Star edge rusher T.J. Watt got home for one sack, two hits and two hurries across 22 pass-rush snaps on first review. He also added three tackles for loss or no gain against the run to top off a terrific all-around performance.
