The Los Angeles Rams lost Robert Woods for the season due to a torn ACL on the same day they officially signed fellow wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Dianna Russini.

Woods tore his ACL on Friday during practice, according to ESPN. Woods finished practice and met with reporters before tests discovered the season-ending ACL tear.

The Rams play the San Francisco 49ers on “Monday Night Football.”

Beckham will need to quickly get up to speed in practice Saturday to play a significant role Monday.
