The Pittsburgh Steelers finished the 2023 preseason undefeated by shutting out the Atlanta Falcons 24-0 in Week 3.
Next up for both teams are games that really count.. The Steelers will be at home against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 1, while the Falcons host the Carolina Panthers.

Offensive spotlight: Kenny Pickett has been nothing short of stellar this preseason. He completed all four of his passes in Atlanta for 86 yards. The second-year quarterback posted a perfect 158.3 passer rating this preseason, the only quarterback to accomplish that feat so far.

Defensive spotlight: The weakest part of the Steelers’ defense is easily the linebacker unit, but new starter Elandon Roberts performed very admirably in the win. He finished with a sack, a tackle for loss and a coverage stop on just 10 snaps Thursday night.
Rookie spotlight: Clark Phillips III is currently competing to be Atlanta’s starting slot cornerback. The fourth-rounder from Utah allowed both of his targets to be caught for just 13 yards while also picking up two defensive stops, one in coverage and the other in run-defense.
