We know that quarterback is the most important position on the field, but a great pass rush is the ultimate equalizer. Pressure disrupts timing, rhythm and accuracy, something only the elite quarterbacks can consistently overcome.

Last season, 13 of the top 15 teams in PFF pass-rush grade had a winning record. In 2023, 15 of the top 16 teams in PFF pass-rush grade had a winning record. A dominant pass-rush is undeniably crucial to a team’s success over the course of the season.

Each week, after every NFL game is graded and reviewed, PFF will check in on the top pass rushers of the 2025 season. These rankings will change drastically early in the campaign, as one sack, hit or pressure can significantly alter a player's grade when the sample size is small. But as snap counts rise, the grades will stabilize and we'll get a clearer picture of the league's best pass rushers.

Here are the top 32 pass rushers for the 2025 season after Week 14. For more grades and statistics on the league's best pass-rushers, check out PFF Premium Stats.

Week 14 Highlights

Best Pass Rusher: Chris Jones, Kansas City Chiefs

Jones had his best game of the season in Week 14 against the Texans, securing a league-best 92.4 PFF pass-rush grade. The All-Pro defensive tackle generated a season-high eight pressures and three quarterback hits as the Chiefs fell just short in a game that had a playoff atmosphere on Sunday Night Football.

Most Pressures: Jeffery Simmons, Tennessee Titans

Simmons' 10 pressures in Week 14 against the Browns were the most he’s ever recorded in a game in his seven-year career. He is enjoying the most productive pass-rushing season of his career, and his 49 pressures are already more than his 2023 (47) and 2024 (45) totals.

Highest Win Rate: Aidan Hutchinson, Detroit Lions

Hutchinson (35.4%) narrowly edged out Montez Sweat (35.3%) for the top pass-rush win rate of the week. Hutchinson’s clip is even more impressive when considering he rushed the passer 54 times, the most of any defender in Week 14 and his most in a game this season.

Best Rookie Pass Rusher: Josaiah Stewart, Los Angeles Rams

Stewart’s 82.7 PFF pass-rush grade and 29.4% pass-rush win rate led the way for all rookies who rushed the quarterback at least 15 times in Week 14. The third-round pick out of Michigan has solidified a role on a deep Rams defensive line, averaging 24 snaps a game this season.

Season Highlights

Best Pass Rusher: Myles Garrett, Cleveland Browns

Garrett is the cream of the NFL pass rusher crop, leading all players in PFF pass-rush grade (93.7) this season. While the Titans did a good job slowing him down, for the most part (two pressures), he recorded a sack for the seventh straight game. The six-time All-Pro needs just three sacks over his final four games to break the NFL season-long sack record.

Most Pressures: Aidan Hutchinson, Detroit Lions

Hutchinson bounced back from his least productive game of the season to record nine pressures in the Lions' Week 14 victory over the Cowboys, giving him a league-best 80 pressures for the season. It was the third time this season that he generated at least nine pressures in a game.

Highest Win Rate: Myles Garrett, Cleveland Browns

Garrett (27.7%) and Will Anderson Jr. (27.2%) are the only players with a win rate higher than 23.5% through Week 14. Garrett is beating his blocker at the highest rate of his career, which is saying something; he led the NFL in win rate last season (23.1%) and in 2023 (27.3%).

Best Rookie Pass Rusher: Abdul Carter, New York Giants

Carter leads all rookies in PFF pass-rush grade (76.5), quarterback pressures (44) and pass-rush win rate (13.5%) this season. He was on a bye in Week 14.
