The Los Angeles Rams are dealing with another running back injury.
Head coach Sean McVay said Monday that Darrell Henderson Jr. left practice with a thumb injury and was unable to return. Henderson is going through some tests, and the severity of his injury is unknown.
#Rams RB Darrell Henderson Jr. left today's practice with a thumb injury. He didn't return to practice, and the severity is unclear at this point. LA has been hammered by injuries at the RB position with Cam Akers (Achilles) and Raymond Calais (foot) going down for the season.

Henderson is the likely starter at the position after Cam Akers‘ season was cut short following a torn Achilles suffered while training. Third-string running back Raymond Calais suffered a foot injury that will require surgery during Saturday's preseason game. He has since been released with an injury designation.
The Rams currently have only three healthy running backs: Xavier Jones, Jake Funk and Otis Anderson. None of the three has recorded a rushing attempt in the NFL.
