Denver Broncos LT Garett Bolles out for season
- Bolles broke his leg in the final minutes of the fourth quarter on Thursday night.
- Bolles has been one of the most consistent and durable players for Denver since entering the league as a first-round pick in 2017. He has missed just four games in his career and has earned 72.0-plus PFF grades in each season.
- Calvin Anderson replaced Bolles and could be the replacement moving forward, but veteran Billy Turner, who has yet to play this season due to a knee injury, could be an option as well.
Denver Broncos CB Ronald Darby tears ACL
- Darby suffered the injury just before halftime of Thursday night’s game — the second time he has suffered a torn ACL in recent years.
- Darby finishes the year with a 71.1 PFF grade.
- Fifth-round rookie Damarri Mathis played in Darby's spot in the second half and could be the man to take over moving forward. Third-year player Michael Ojemudia could become a possibility as well once the team activates him off injured reserve.
Arizona Cardinals release veteran TE Maxx Williams
- Williams had a nice season last year with 16 catches for 193 yards and a touchdown in five games before going down with a torn ACL. He earned a 77.9 PFF grade and a 77.6 receiving grade.
- He re-signed with the team this offseason on a one-year contract, but through four games, he has not done much.
- Williams has excelled as a run-blocker over the years. His 83.8 PFF run-blocking grade since 2019 ranks first among all tight ends.
