The Las Vegas Raiders and wide receiver Hunter Renfrow have agreed to a new contract.
According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport, the Raiders are signing Renfrow to a two-year, $32 million extension. The deal reportedly includes $21 million guaranteed.
The fourth-year pass-catcher was heading into the final year of his rookie contract, which would have paid him $2.54 million in base salary. Now, he gets a considerable raise to put him among the highest-paid players at the position.
Per Over The Cap, Renfrow's $16 million average per-year salary (APY) is top-20 among receivers and sits right above the recently extended Cooper Kupp ($15.75 million).

Renfrow enjoyed a breakout season in 2021, catching 103 of his 124 targets for 1,038 yards over the regular season. He scored nine touchdowns and ranked top-20 in PFF grade for the year.
With Davante Adams donning the silver and black in 2022, Renfrow figures to work primarily out of the slot once again. He lined up in the slot on 64.5% of his receiving snaps a season ago and racked up 601 yards from 70 slot targets, finishing eighth among slot receivers in yards after the catch (270) and tied for fourth in missed tackles forced (9).
With the move to bring in Adams, the Raiders now have two of the best route-runners in the NFL. Las Vegas came in at No. 5 in PFF's offseason wide receiving corps rankings but will look to claim the top spot with their shifty slot weapon locked up until 2024.
