That’s what occurred in the City of Brotherly Love tonight as the top-seeded Philadelphia Eagles destroyed the No. 6 seed and division-rival New York Giants 38-7 in the NFC Divisional Round.
With the win, the Eagles advance to their first NFC Championship Game since 2017, when they won the franchise’s only Super Bowl. They’ll host either the San Francisco 49ers or the Dallas Cowboys next week.
Offensive Spotlight: Dallas Goedert was the star of the Eagles offense, finishing with an 86.7 grade on first review. The fifth-year tight end had a 154.6 passer rating when targeted as he caught all five of his targets for 58 yards and a one-handed touchdown.

Defensive Spotlight: James Bradberry had a career night against the Giants. He currently owns a 92.1 grade on first review, which would be the highest of his seven-year tenure thus far. He picked off Daniel Jones and forced an incompletion. In all, he only allowed two catches for six yards. Bradberry only allowed a 16.7 passer rating when targeted. For comparison, spiking the ball every play nets a 39.6 rating.
Rookie Spotlight: Reed Blankenship has taken on an increased role in the Eagles secondary recently and had a good showing in his first career playoff game. The undrafted safety from Middle Tennessee forced an incompletion while also coming up with a couple run-defense stops and a tackle for loss.
Offensive Line Spotlight: We’ve lauded the Eagles as the best offensive line in the league all season, and it did nothing but prove that correct tonight. On 26 pass-blocking snaps, Philadelphia’s front-five didn’t give up any sacks or hits and only allowed one pressure. That 3.9% pressure rate allowed is the second-lowest given up by an offensive line in a playoff game in the PFF era. The only one lower was the 49ers in the 2019 NFC Championship Game, when they dropped back to pass nine total times.
