Each week, we’ve been taking a look at some of the more interesting nuggets readers can find out about teams with our “Premium Stats” product —whether it’s who the best pass-rushers are, who the most productive receivers are, or who grades the best at certain positions.
With a little time, we’ve trawled through to see what caught our eye not just from this week's action but for the season overall.

Arizona Cardinals
It’s great to see James Conner looking back to his best. He has the third-highest grade of all running backs (85.5).
Atlanta Falcons
Is Kyle Pitts getting back to his best? He recorded the most yards per route run of any tight end this week with a 3.48 score. Much better than the 0.7 he had been averaging in the first four weeks.
Baltimore Ravens
In arguably the finest passing game of his career, Lamar Jackson had the most big-time throws (four) of any quarterback this week. His receivers also dropped the most balls this week (seven).
Buffalo Bills
Of all defenders to have at least 10 tackles, Ed Oliver has the lowest average depth of tackle. When he makes a tackle in the run game, it’s a 0.3-yard loss for the offense on average!
Carolina Panthers
There is a new clubhouse leader in the number of receptions without dropping a ball. Adam Thielen is top of the charts with 38.
Chicago Bears
Nobody has completed more balls downfield (20 yards or more in the air) than Justin Fields with 13. That has helped him to the fourth-highest deep passing grade.
Cincinnati Bengals
It has been a tough season for Joe Burrow and the Bengals, but he’s still as safe with the ball as anyone. He has the lowest percentage of turnover-worthy plays of any quarterback at 1.3%. That’s down from 2.2% last year (although, it should be noted his big-time throw percentage has dropped from 4.8% to 2.4%).
Cleveland Browns
Where does Myles Garrett set himself apart? In his pass-rushing win percentage. On the season, his 32% pass-rush win rate is the best in the league.
Dallas Cowboys
No interior offensive lineman has as high a run-blocking grade as Tyler Smith. The dominating guard leads the way with a 91.9 score and is the only player to have grades above 80 for both zone and gap runs.
Denver Broncos
It’s easy to see why Broncos fans are excited by Marvin Mims Jr. Of all receivers to run at least 50 routes, he has the highest yards per route run at 4.82.
Detroit Lions
Another day, another chance for Jared Goff to put forward his own MVP case. He had the highest adjusted accuracy completion on the week (92.3%) and now has the best on the entire year (82.9%).
Green Bay Packers
No defensive back has made as many stops in the run game as Rudy Ford, who stands alone with 18.
Houston Texans
No tackle spent as many snaps in true pass-blocking sets as Laremy Tunsil (16) without giving up a pressure. This was part of the reason the Texans had the best pass-blocking efficiency score of the week at 95.7.
Indianapolis Colts
Colts linebacker Zaire Franklin leads all defenders in tackles in the run game (30) and defensive stops in the run game (18).
Jacksonville Jaguars
To put in perspective just how elusive Travis Etienne was this week, he forced a league-leading 13 missed tackles in Week 5 and leads the regular season way with 34 total forced missed tackles.
Kansas City Chiefs
There’s always a stat for Patrick Mahomes isn’t there? He has the most big-time throws (five) and best grade (81.7) of any quarterback when under pressure.
Las Vegas Raiders
With 34 total pressures, Maxx Crosby trails only Aidan Hutchinson on the combined sacks, hits and hurries leaderboard.
Los Angeles Chargers
Asante Samuel Jr. has the second-highest coverage grade of any cornerback in man coverage at 90.0.
Los Angeles Rams
Ernest Jones led the way with 10 tackles in the run game, most of any defender this week.
Miami Dolphins
It’s incredible how productive Tyreek Hill is, as he recorded the most yards per route run again this week — turning 18 routes into 181 yards.
Minnesota Vikings
Jonathan Bullard is the third-ranked defensive interior for our signature run-stop percentage stat — 17.9% of the running plays he is on the field for, he ends up making a defensive stop.
New England Patriots
What might have been for Christian Gonzalez. He still has the fifth-highest zone coverage grade of any cornerback despite his unfortunate injury.
New Orleans Saints
Cornerback Alontae Taylor has made 10 defensive stops in coverage, the most of any defensive back.
New York Giants
A tough start for the Giants, but Dexter Lawrence is still playing exceptionally well. He’s our second-ranked defensive interior on the year and is the only player at his position to have grades in run defense and pass rush above 80.
New York Jets
It’s not just about stopping catches, it’s about preventing yards after the catch. C.J. Mosley led all defenders with five defensive stops in coverage.
Philadelphia Eagles
Bradley Roby spent 11 snaps in slot coverage this week and allowed negative four yards. Unsurprisingly, that negative figure was the best of any slot defender on a per-snap basis.
Pittsburgh Steelers
Armon Watts had the highest pass-rushing win percentage of all defensive interior on the week with a 40% mark.
San Francisco 49ers
A fantastic Sunday night for Brock Purdy. He was efficient in every regard, but his play when getting rid of the ball in under 2.5 seconds was marvelous, turning all 19 of his dropbacks here into completions. Not bad when you get rid of the ball quicker than every other quarterback this week (2.26 seconds on average).
Seattle Seahawks
No team has used play action more than the Seahawks, as 34.3% of Geno Smith’s dropbacks use it, which is handy since his 90.3 grade using play action ranks fourth in the league.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
No quarterback has a higher grade on short throws (0-9 yards) than Baker Mayfield. His 86.2 grade is inspired by his 90.6% completion percentage.
Tennessee Titans
Running back Tyjae Spears has the second-highest pass-blocking grade (90.3) among running backs courtesy of not allowing a single pressure on his 22 pass-blocking attempts.
Washington Commanders
A monster day for Chase Young. He had the joint most total pressures on the week (seven) and the best win percentage for any edge defender (37.9%).
