Story of the Game
Rookie running back A.J. Dillon also got in on the fun. The former Boston College back rumbled through the Green Bay snow and Tennessee defenders for 124 yards and two touchdowns, including a 30-yard touchdown scamper on fourth down in the third quarter.
Ryan Tannehill and the Titans’ offense just couldn't get off the ground. Tannehill turned in one of his worst performances of the season, completing just 11-of-24 passes for 121 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. He also took two sacks on the night. He should finish PFF’s grading reviews with a sub-60.0 PFF grade.
The Green Bay defense, on the other hand, had a field day against Tannehill & Co. Darnell Savage and Jaire Alexander both finished the game with 85.0-plus PFF coverage grades on first review. Second-year edge defender Rashan Gary also turned in one of his best single-game performances of the season, with multiple stops in the run game and a handful of pressures.
Rookie Watch
It was Dillon’s night. He totaled more than 90 yards after contact and forced an incredible nine missed tackles on PFF’s first review of the broadcast film. No other rookie even deserves a mention.
