Jeremy Hill came in at No. 63 (RB23) in our consensus Fantasy 101, and there was quite a bit of dissent among the rankers. For example, one of my colleagues had him listed all the way down at No. 90, while I was actually highest on Hill at No. 43 overall (RB18). Am I too high on Hill?
Perhaps, but let’s look at some key numbers in Hill’s first two pro seasons:
2015 | 2014 | |
PFF elusive rating | 23.6 (45th) | 40.5 (17th) |
Rushing grade | 3.1 (28th) | -1.6 (40th) |
Yco/ATT | 2.1 | 2.7 |
Snaps | 43.80% | 46.50% |
Yards per carry | 3.6 | 5 |
Fumbles | 3 | 2 |
Touches | 238 | 249 |
Fantasy rank | T-13th | 10th |
*rankings based on players playing a minimum 25% snaps
What to observe here
- While Hill’s elusive rating dipped in his second season, his PFF rushing grade actually improved from his rookie campaign.
