One of the best ways to win in fantasy football and DFS slates is by stacking players, whether that is a pair of teammates or a game stack that includes players on both sides of the ball. Each week in this space, we will highlight some of the best stack options of the week for DFS players.
There are a lot of teams with lopsided matchups in their favor in Week 2. This offers us a great opportunity to stack the offenses in those matchups in fantasy football. These stacks offer huge upside and are hard to pass up in DFS this week.
New England Patriots (@ Miami)
Tom Brady, QB; Antonio Brown and Josh Gordon, WRs
Miami looks to be the new vacation spot for fantasy players. Lamar Jackson was able to set a career-high 324 passing yards on just 20 pass attempts last week — his previous high was only 204 yards. His top receiver was Marquise Brown, who has yet to be 100% recovered from his foot injury, and still racked up 147 yards and 2 touchdowns on 14 snaps. The Patriots receiving core is a different beast compared to the Ravens — Brady has an upside of 300-plus yards and 4 touchdowns here. All of the WR/CB matchups favor the Patriots heavily, but Gordon potentially has the most upside of the three at the lowest salary. He will likely see Eric Rowe in coverage, who allowed 6 catches for 82 yards and 2 TDs on 6 targets in coverage last week. Antonio Brown is also a good GPP play as the amount of snaps he will see is an unknown, but we saw what his cousin Marquise was able to do against this same defense in 14 snaps.
