The fantasy football draft season has come to a close. Now, a lot of the attention can turn to building DFS lineups.

Today, we are looking at Week 1 main slate value plays to help us get the season off on the right foot.

Quarterback

Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens (@ Miami)

FanDuel $7,400/DraftKings $6,000

In 2018, the Dolphins gave up the fourth-most total yards and the second-most rushing yards. For a dual-threat quarterback like Jackson, this could lead to a big afternoon. The Ravens have also added several weapons around the second-year guy that he didn’t have last season. Jackson is the seventh-most expensive QB on DraftKings but only 12th on FanDuel, so that’s where his big value is this week.

Running back

Chris Carson, Seattle Seahawks (vs. Cincinnati)

FanDuel $6,600/DraftKings $5,700

Rashaad Penny was never able to overtake Carson during camp, leaving Carson to start the year as the RB1 in Seattle. Cincinnati was a bottom-two defense against the run in both FanDuel and DraftKings in 2018. Based on our rankings, the Bengals rush defense is the 18th ranked for this season, giving Carson a good matchup to exploit.
