It is Week 8 already, which means we are at the halfway point for our fantasy football seasons and are entering “do-or-die” territory when it comes to transaction activity. With another star IDP player lost for the season this past week and many more changes happening across the league, we will need to hit those waiver wires to ensure that we’re getting the best options available so our fantasy teams stay strong for the back half of this season.
I will always try to put new names in my weekly articles, as to not repeat the same information from one week to the next, but there will come times that players who were mentioned previously continue to be under-rostered or who you might have missed from a past week’s article. For this reason, I will list anyone here who I have mentioned in the prior three weeks with the link to their article and information below.
NAMES THAT BEAR REPEATING
- Malik Reed, DE, DEN (WK7)
- Emmanuel Ogbah, DE, MIA (WK6)
- Romeo Okwara, DE, DET (WK5)
- Marcus Davenport, DE, NO (WK7)
- Haason Reddick, ED, ARZ (WK6)
- Cole Holcomb, LB, WAS, (WK7)
- Dre Greenlaw, LB, SF (WK7)
- Vince Williams/Robert Spillane (WK7)
- Tyrell Adams, LB, (WK6)
- Daniel Sorensen, S, KC, (WK5)
- Deshazor Everett, S, WAS (WK7)
Now onto the new names…
DEFENSIVE LINE
Melvin Ingram III, DE, Los Angeles Chargers
Melvin Ingram finally returned to the Chargers' defensive line this week after missing three games due to an injury. While Uchenna Nwosu possibly gave us one last game of fill-in fantasy production Sunday with two sacks, the snap shares were heavily in the favor of Ingram, who saw almost double Nwosu's playing time. This will more than likely be the case moving forward.
