Heading into Week 7 of the college football season, we’re here to break down the top college DFS plays on DraftKings.
College football is back, and thanks to the availability of daily fantasy games, it’s better than ever! Well, at least better than it’s been in a few years. The game is a little different than it was several years ago when it was last available. In case you’re playing catch-up, here’s an overview of what college football games look like on DraftKings:
Salary cap — $50,000
Lineup construction — QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, flex, superflex
Important notes: In flex spot one, we can play a running back or a wide receiver. In the superflex spot, we can use any player in the pool. If you’re looking for tight ends, they are all listed at wide receiver.
Here are some of my favorite plays for the Saturday noon main slate on DraftKings (10 games) in Week 8:
Quarterback
Trace McSorley, Penn State, $8,900
After back-to-back contests against Ohio State and Michigan State, McSorley should find some breathing room against a reeling Indiana defense. This is the first time McSorley has been priced under $9,000 all season, but he just flopped against the Spartans in Week 7 so some may still be gun shy to trust him this week. Don’t fear, though, because Indiana has allowed six (yes, six) passing touchdowns in each (yes, each) of the past two games.
