Los Angeles Chargers LB Drue Tranquill: He's in an every-down role against a run-heavy offense in Week 5, which equals big-time production potential.

Dallas Cowboys EDGE Demarcus Lawrence: The veteran is looking like his dominant self and draws a great matchup to produce in Week 5.

Kansas City Chiefs CB L’Jarius Sneed: The budding star is the CB1 for IDP purposes, and it isn’t particularly close.

Drue Tranquill (LB14) recorded his first 100% snap share game of the 2022 campaign and now draws a great linebacker matchup in Week 5. The Browns rank second in the NFL in rushing attempts per game (37.3), which is an excellent way for linebackers to remain efficient producers for IDP. Through four weeks, rushing defense creates a tackle efficiency (17.1%) more than double that of passing defense (8.4%) for linebackers. After posting back-to-back games of double-digit tackles, Tranquill should keep the momentum rolling in Week 5.

Frankie Luvu (LB22) has turned into one of the best, if not the best, IDP linebacker waiver additions through the first month of the season, and he’s made a case for himself to be an every-week starter in fantasy. Luvu now has two games with double-digit tackle totals while filling the stat sheet in a number of ways, including a pick-six in Week 4. He draws a favorable matchup this week against the 49ers, who rank sixth in the league in rushing attempts per game (30.8). That creates more tackle opportunities for linebackers, as alluded to above.

Cody Barton (LB56) hovered in the range of a top-20 linebacker these past few weeks, but things changed drastically for him in Week 4, as noted in the Week 4 Utilization Report. Barton's snap share was cut in half this past week, which was likely a coach’s decision, as he has proven to be a liability on numerous occasions. He should not be trusted this week until it’s clear if he’s going to regain an every-down role.
