A player's injury status can have a significant effect on fantasy football — it can alter draft strategy, roster construction and, most importantly, start-or-sit decisions for your fantasy team.
Each week, I will review the positional players’ injuries from Thursday's and Sunday’s games. Injuries are fluid, so make sure to stay up to date by following @mario_pilato on Twitter.

Carolina Panthers:
WR D.J. Moore, PFF Week 12 Consensus Rank: WR15 — Ankle injury
Moore hurt his right ankle toward the end of the game when quarterback Teddy Bridgewater threw a ball behind him in the endzone. Moore planted and took off on his right foot but did not allow himself to land on it. I do not think it is an Achilles injury. I believe he suffered a calf strain or a lateral ankle sprain.
The Panthers have a Week 13 bye, so we probably won’t hear an update for some time. I expect Moore to miss several weeks, but I do not believe it is a serious injury.
QB Teddy Bridgewater, PFF Week 12 Consensus Rank: QB15 — Arm/Shoulder injury
Bridgewater appeared to leave the game late with an arm/shoulder injury. He ran off the field letting his arm hang. It is unclear what the specific injury is, and he might just be dealing with a stinger. I believe he will be ready to go after the Panthers' Week 13 bye.

New York Giants @ Cincinnati Bengals
New York Giants:
QB Daniel Jones, PFF Week 12 Consensus Rank: QB14 — Hamstring injury
Jones injured his hamstring in the third quarter. I believe he suffered a Grade I or Grade II hamstring strain. Grade I strain return-to-play timeline is one to two weeks and a Grade II strain is three to six weeks. If he comes back too soon it will limit his running ability.

Las Vegas Raiders @ Atlanta Falcons
Las Vegas Raiders:
RB Josh Jacobs, PFF Week 12 Consensus Rank: RB6 — Ankle injury
Jacobs injured his ankle in the third quarter. I believe he suffered a high ankle sprain. The return-to-play timeline is anywhere from no time missed to three-plus weeks. The problem is that the injury makes it tough for players to change direction effectively. More information should come out over the next day or two.

Denver Broncos:
RB Phillip Lindsay, PFF Week 12 Consensus Rank: RB45 — Knee injury
Lindsay injured his knee in the third quarter. I believe he suffered a mild MCL sprain or meniscus injury. I expect him to miss some time.
