• Add Michael Mayer: The 2023 tight end draft class has been the best in a long time, and Mayer is ready to join the potential fantasy starters in that class.
• Cut Samaje Perine: Jaleel McLaughlin‘s emergence and Javonte Williams‘ return have reduced Perine’s role in Denver’s offense.
• Buy low on Rhamondre Stevenson: The Patriots running back went back to taking the passing down work along with a lot of the rushing work despite Ezekiel Elliott scoring a touchdown.

5 PLAYERS TO ADD
1. RB Devin Singletary, Houston Texans
Singletary played the majority of available snaps and the majority of early-down work in a major backfield change for Houston.
- Dameon Pierce was largely ineffective in the first five weeks. He averaged 2.9 yards per carry and gained a first down on 10.7% of his carries. It was assumed a lot of the problem was the offensive line because he was still avoiding plenty of tackles.
- Pierce played 42 offensive snaps to Singletary's four on first and second downs on the first two drives during the first five weeks. The two split snaps — four each — in those situations this week.
- The Texans also used Singletary to close out the game. He played nine of 13 snaps in the fourth quarter, compared to two for Pierce and two for Mike Boone.
- Singletary ended up as the more effective runner of the two, averaging 4.8 yards per carry to Pierce's 2.6.
- Singletary should be one of the top waiver wire pickups of the week, and Pierce should be kept out of fantasy starting lineups.
- The Texans have their bye this week, so Singletary is an option for fantasy managers who want to gamble on his long-term upside.
2. RB Craig Reynolds, Detroit Lions
