Welcome to the final week of the 2020 fantasy football season. If you made it this far, well done and good luck in your championship contest. There are many intriguing names to choose from in the final week of the waiver wire.

I’ve compiled a list of the most desirable waiver wire additions ahead of Week 16 after getting a chance to analyze the usage rates, performances and snap and target shares from Week 15.

QB Baker Mayfield, Cleveland Browns — 47% rostered

Mayfield has turned it on in the past two weeks, ranking fifth among all quarterbacks in scoring (52 fantasy points) over that time frame. The former first overall draft pick appears to have turned a corner and looks much more comfortable recently, and it has translated into high-level fantasy football performances.

One of the more intriguing parts of this addition is that Mayfield faces the New York Jets in Week 16. If he’s available in your league, he should vault somewhere near the top of your desired additions because he has a great shot to become a league-winner with his recent performances and matchup next week.
