This is our weekly check on the top waiver-wire adds to make in IDP fantasy football leagues. Injuries and bye weeks have started to add up, so it’s time to dive deep into those waiver wires and pull out some potential starters to fill the voids that have/will undoubtedly plague us all in the weeks ahead.

Here are 10 IDP options who can add some value to rosters going forward.

Defensive line

Sebastian Joseph-Day, DT, Los Angeles Rams

Joseph-Day has been the Rams’ starting NT all season and over the last couple of weeks has put up a couple of nice fantasy games thanks to an increased workload as he has totaled 6 tackles and a sack the last two weeks. Joseph-Day is undoubtedly a deeper add but with the aforementioned bye weeks and injuries increasing there may be an opportunity for someone like Joseph-Day to make our fantasy rosters.

Sheldon Rankins, DT, New Orleans Saints

Rankins returned from injury in Week 4 in a limited fashion and continued a part-time role this past week as well, but looked more like his healthy self — landing 3 tackles and a sack against Tampa Bay, Rankins’ workload should only increase going forward as he looks to be back to the form he showed last season before going down with an Achilles injury. Rankins could still be available in a lot of re-draft leagues and is definitely worth a pick-up for the rest of the season.
