We’re back again with a look at the best waiver wire claims to make for fantasy football in IDP leagues for Week 14.

It’s officially playoff time, which means that IDP owners who have made it this far will be on the lookout for potential game changers and/or depth off the waiver wire.

Here are nine potential IDP waiver-wire adds for this week:

Defensive line

Ed Oliver, DT, Buffalo Bills

Oliver was a top-10 pick in this year’s draft and started the year kind of slow by those standards. Oliver started the first seven games of the season for the Bills but had only managed one sack during that span and was starting to look like he wouldn’t be much use for fantasy purposes this season. Since then, the Bills have used him slightly less and somehow that has caused him to be more productive from a pass-rushing standpoint. In the last three games Oliver has totaled 5 sacks and is beginning to look more like the top-10 pick that the Bills were hoping for, and hopefully for fantasy owners he can continue to close out the season on a high note.

Christian Covington, DT, Dallas Cowboys

Covington recorded his first sack of the season Thursday and started his first game for the Cowboys since Week 5. Covington was starting in place of the injured Antwaun Woods, who may be missing more time with a knee injury, which means Dallas may have to rely more on Covington going forward. Covington could be a helpful backup should you need him in those DT-premium leagues as more snaps will hopefully lead to similar production that we saw on Thursday.
