It’s that time of the week against when we scour the waiver wire for the top IDP prospects. We’re heading into Week 10 and closing in on the fantasy playoffs, so it’s time to make these pickups count.
Defensive linemen
Matt Ioannidis, Washington Redskins
I featured Ioannidis as a pickup earlier in the season, and he’s while he’s had a quieter few weeks, Weeks 8 and 9 marked a return to form. 3.5 sacks and 12 total tackles make him the second-highest-scoring defensive lineman over the period and gives his one or more sacks on 5-of-8 games in 2018.
Chris Jones, Kansas City Chiefs
Jones has been a force on the inside this year, currently ranking fifth among interior defensive lineman for total pressures (32), but most importantly for his fantasy owners he’s recorded five sacks, one in each of the last five games. Jones also has an impressive nine tackles for loss on the year, and perhaps most impressively he ranks as a top-five fantasy lineman since Week 5.
