Arguably the best wide receiver available in free agency has a new home: former Jacksonville Jaguars and Chicago Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson has inked a three-year, $45 million with the Los Angeles Rams. The deal includes $30 million guaranteed, cementing A-Rob as one of Matthew Stafford’s top pass-game options for the coming years.

This past season obviously wasn’t Robinson’s best performance, but it’s truly an outlier in terms of what he managed to pull off from a fantasy perspective during the first seven seasons of his career. Previously, the 28-year-old veteran offered a true WR1 ceiling to go along with a WR3 floor in fantasy land.

What happened in 2021? Well, a lot. Robinson dealt with both a hamstring injury as well as COVID last season, ultimately appearing in just 12 games and racking up only 66 targets – the lowest mark of his career aside from his injury-riddled 2017 campaign. Uneven quarterback play from both Andy Dalton and Justin Fields hardly helped matters inside an offense that constantly left much to be desired from a play-calling perspective.
