Jalen Hurts’ streak of top-12 QB1 fantasy football finishes extends to nine games, Cordarrelle Patterson stays inside the top-10 at running back after a bye week, and waiver wire running backs continue to produce— just like we all predicted.

All jokes aside, the NFL season has already been an emotional rollercoaster ride of ebbs and flows. The constant change and variance in the NFL have made it critical to continually adjust fantasy football player rankings based on new information and trends. Realizing Derrick Henry’s moniker as the “Big Dog” may need to be altered to “Air Bud” as he shatters his career season-long receptions total because of his increase in routes run cannot be underestimated.
With plenty of PFF premium stats available to adjust rankings based on a player’s high-value opportunities, expected fantasy point output and routes run participation, it will be easy to highlight the best waiver wire options, optimal starts/sits and under-the-radar trade targets/DFS plays.
Those key data points — along with PFF player grades, implied team totals, PFF fantasy projections and strength of schedule — are all factored in to mold my position-by-position Week 7 fantasy football rankings.

MATT RYAN, ATLANTA FALCONS
The Miami Dolphins electing to not take a bye week directly after their trip to London is a puzzling decision, especially considering they are now tasked with facing off against a rested Atlanta Falcons led by Ryan.
Ryan’s first three games under the Arthur Smith era were abysmal — 27th in fantasy points per game and 29th in PFF passing grade — but he turned it on over his last two contests.
The Falcons signal-caller averaged 25.3 fantasy points per game (sixth) and was PFF’s highest-graded quarterback (93.4). And although soft matchups versus New York Jets and the Washington Football Team helped propel Ryan’s numbers, the offensive philosophy to throw more downfield acted as the true conduit to the quarterback’s fantasy boost. His pedestrian 4.9 average depth of target (aDOT) skyrocketed to 9.7.
With Calvin Ridley back in the fold and Kyle Pitts heavily involved in the offense for Week 7, expect Ryan to exploit a beatable Miami Dolphins defense that has allowed the third-most passing yards to quarterbacks this season.
