Every fantasy football manager who lost their Week 2 matchup is probably muttering, “We’re on to Week 3.” But in reality, that’s the exact approach everybody should have heading into Week 3 of the fantasy football season.
The flurry of fantasy points scored by Derrick Henry, Cooper Kupp and Kyler Murray doesn’t necessarily carry over into this week, and like any given Sunday, almost any fantasy team can emerge victoriously.
To ensure you continue to roll over success, consider my Week 3 waiver wire piece and the following Week 3 fantasy football rankings, which will have additional analysis broken down by position.

Remember, just because a player burned or boomed for you last week, it doesn’t mean those results will repeat this week. Great players have down weeks all the time, and bad players have great weeks. The important thing is knowing the difference between the two.
Remain fluid and evaluate your team solely based on the available information from Week 2 for Week 3 matchups, as that is the optimal approach.
And as an extra treat, players to target in trades are also highlighted in the fantasy rankings because making sharp transactions beyond the waiver wire can go a long way to helping your fantasy squad.
Spoiler: This is the week to buy all the Cincinnati Bengals you can.

KYLER MURRAY, ARIZONA CARDINALS
We are two weeks into the NFL season, and Murray is breaking all the rules of fantasy football. He’s finished as the QB1 in back-to-back weeks and has picked up where he left off last season before his injury — casually scoring more fantasy points than any other quarterback in the NFL history. No biggie.
The Cardinals QB is averaging a whopping 35 fantasy points per game, nearly five points better than the QB2, Tom Brady. When Murray is healthy, he’s virtually unstoppable.
Look for his hot streak to continue versus the Jacksonville Jaguars, who rank 28th in PFF's coverage grade in 2021.
