As usual, these are my weekly .5-PPR superflex rankings to assist with start/sit decisions in what can often be complicated league formats. The key to winning superflex matchups is to understand the range of outcomes with weekly projections.

We will examine these players using tiers. For example, any player in Tier 2 should be started over a player in Tier 3. Within any tier, these choices are going to be a matter of preference.

Let’s just pretend Week 15 didn’t happen. These quarterbacks have a greater body of work over the course of the season, and weird weeks are bound to happen.

However, in one of the biggest games of the week, Justin Herbert did just about all he could to hang with Patrick Mahomes — even if it wasn’t quite enough.

Herbert threw for 236 yards and two touchdowns and added a rushing touchdown to his point total as well. The Los Angeles Chargers now stand at 8-6 and need to win at least two of their next three games to have the best shot at the wildcard. This week’s opponent is the Houston Texans, who should serve as a great bounce-back game for Herbert and the Chargers.

In other news, Kyler Murray posted his second-worst worst fantasy output of the year in a pitiful game against the Detroit Lions. It would have been the worst had he not completed a touchdown pass to Christian Kirk with 4:40 left in the game. With DeAndre Hopkins now shut down for the season, Murray is treading into murky waters — this was the first full game Murray played without Hopkins since the Cardinals traded for him. Murray’s rushing ability should give him a boost, but the Colts possess a solid defense, so his upside may be limited.
