The fantasy football playoffs are still a week away in most leagues, but Week 14 is still a must-win for many teams trying to earn a playoff bid. Having four teams on bye during a must-win slate is less than ideal, leaving many fantasy managers scrambling to fill out lineups.
Fortunately, PFF’s exclusive player grades and research tools can help the well-prepared manager determine which players to target and others to fade in season-long and daily leagues.

Using those metrics and PFF’s fantasy football rankings, here are players to target and fade in Week 14.
Rankings are based on PPR scoring.
Target: Taysom Hill, New Orleans Saints
PFF Consensus: QB9
Opponent: at New York Jets
There can be a big discrepancy between being a competent NFL quarterback and a reliable fantasy option. Hill defines that rule, as he pretty much cost the Saints a much-needed victory last week with turnovers while posting a top-five fantasy outing in the same game.
Hill has managed a ridiculous 0.95 fantasy points per dropback thanks to his elite rushing ability. Despite completing less than half of his passes last week and tossing four interceptions, Hill ran for 101 yards and will be a threat to lead all quarterbacks in rushing each and every game he starts.
With Hill slotted to be under center again in Week 14, he’s a good bet to post top-10 fantasy numbers facing a New York Jets squad that has been hemorrhaging points to opposing quarterbacks. The Jets have allowed multiple touchdown passes in their last eight games and have forced an NFL-worst four interceptions all season. If Hill can take advantage of that secondary with his arm, he offers top-three upside this week.
Fade: Ryan Tannehill, Tennessee Titans
PFF Consensus: QB17
Opponent: vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
