We’re now entering the home stretch in our fantasy football leagues, so it's wise to begin planning for the final playoff push by making adds that could spark some production in playoff weeks.

Here are the most intriguing waiver wire additions ahead of Week 12.

QB Taysom Hill, New Orleans Saints — 43% rostered

That’s right. Head coach Sean Payton wasn’t lying when he told reporters Hill would start at quarterback in Week 11, and it certainly paid off for those who went ahead and added him prior to the week. The do-it-all weapon put together an incredibly strong 26.4-point performance, ranking third among all quarterbacks in scoring for the week.

It should come as no surprise that Hill ripped off 51 rushing yards and two touchdowns on the ground. The exciting part was his contributions in the passing game. Hill totaled 233 passing yards for a 6.7-yard average depth of target. Both figures translate well moving forward, particularly when you consider Hill’s ability to produce with his legs. That alone should provide a strong floor each week.

QB Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles — 1% rostered

Could it be time for Doug Pederson to turn to Hurts at the quarterback spot in Philadelphia? While there isn’t any indication the move will be made just yet, it may be smart to get out in front of your league-mates by adding Hurts if you have an available roster spot.
