Week 13 kicks off on Sunday — there is no Thursday Night Football game on this week’s slate. This week offers some intriguing matchups with several NFL team putting together their best football as the playoffs near, and that directly correlates to our fantasy football leagues.
After analyzing this slate, individual usage rates and injuries, I’ve compiled the following list of players to start and sit at every position in fantasy football leagues for Week 13.
QUARTERBACKS
START: Taysom Hill, New Orleans Saints
The jokes were always fun to fire off, but they’ve suddenly halted with Hill getting the job done over the past two weeks as the starter for the Saints. The punt-up-man-turned-tight-end-turned-quarterback currently ranks as a clear-cut QB1 over the past two weeks with a QB5 ranking. While Hill’s ability to throw the ball leaves something to be desired, his four rushing touchdowns, seven red-zone rushing attempts and three rushing attempts inside the 5-yard line have allowed him to dominate.
This week, Hill gets the pleasure of opposing the Atlanta Falcons. While the Falcons have played better recently, they’ve still surrendered the third-highest passing yards per attempt figure (8.17) and the most rushing touchdowns to the quarterback position (six).
