Week 12 of the fantasy football season has finally arrived — and so too has a triple-header of games on Thanksgiving Day. Let's dive into some of the closer calls from a sit/start perspective with consideration of usage rates, injuries and matchups.

QUARTERBACKS

START: Derek Carr, Las Vegas Raiders

Jon Gruden has gotten his veteran quarterback to completely flip the switch in his career in 2020. Prior to this season, many wondered if Carr was a franchise quarterback, and he’s been exactly that so far. A borderline QB1, Carr currently ranks 17th among quarterbacks in scoring with 182.6 total fantasy points.

No player sports a better matchup than Carr this week against the Atlanta Falcons. Atlanta's secondary has been truly terrible this season, allowing the most points to opposing quarterbacks.

Start Carr with confidence in Week 12, as he has a top-five ceiling and a top-10 floor in a beautiful matchup this week.
