Week 8 review
Week 8 was feast or famine in fantasy. If fantasy managers didn’t have A.J. Brown or a Miami Dolphins stack, they were in a world of hurt. Scoring remains down across the league, and poor quarterback play is the most likely cause. Across the league, passing offense remains underwhelming. And while things could change, this group of QBs seems to be firmly buckled up on the struggle bus.
How this impacts the buy-low candidates is still to be determined. Hit rates remain similar to past seasons, and in three of the seven weeks, a buy-low receiver has been on the Milly Maker winner. This week all three tight ends identified by the model turned in performances that beat expectations, with the Jacksonville Jaguars‘ Evan Engram leading the way.
