Week 6 Review
Week 6 was a rebound for the model. Kansas City Chiefs WR JuJu Smith-Schuster was the big hit thanks to a 42-yard touchdown against the Buffalo Bills. At a cost of just $5,200 on Draft Kings, his performance netted “CrnaGora2NYC” $75K and a third-place finish in the Milly Maker.
The rest of Week 6's wins were rather modest, though Chicago Bears WR Darnell Mooney continues to impress in a dreadful offense. It was also partially frustrating and partially validating to see San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk blow up the week after he fell off the buy-low candidate list. He came in just below the cut-off last week.
In typical fashion, whenever I redact a player, they go on to do something good. REDACTED (Kyle Pitts) scored a touchdown for Atlanta and beat his pitiful 3.9-point projection, but ultimately, his performance was not worth celebrating. He is now off the list – mercifully – and for that, we are thankful (There is, however, another REDACTED this week).
Here are the full results for Week 6, with players who beat their consensus projections in bold.
