Kansas City ChiefsClyde Edwards-Helaire has rookie and second-year stats that compare favorably to DeAngelo Williams and Maurice Jones-Drew.

Edwards-Helaire’s receiving production was cut in half last season, and he was only targeted in 13% of his routes.

Edwards-Helaire’s current ADP at RB27 in PPR formats makes him a slight buy, according to the PFF consensus fantasy rankings.

CLYDE EDWARDS-HELAIRE COMPS

Fantasy football managers expected big things from Edwards-Helaire after the Kansas City Chiefs took him in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. But while the LSU product finished as a top-25 fantasy running back as a rookie, his production fell in his second season.

The former LSU Tiger's comps weren’t all successful in their third seasons, but some put high-end performances in his range of outcomes. DeAngelo Williams, Maurice Jones-Drew and Leonard Fournette were all top-six running backs after modest second NFL seasons.
