Week 1 brought with it some of the highest fantasy football scores we’ll see all year, and we’ll look to keep the ball rolling in Week 2, which also features some great players in great spots.
This is our weekly look at tournament plays on FanDuel. If you’re looking for cash game plays, be sure to check out Tyler Beucher’s rundown for FanDuel Week 2. To take down a GPP, though, you’ll need to think a bit outside of the box, which is why this piece will offer contrarian and non-obvious stack options for you to consider in addition to the expected chalk at each position.
Quarterbacks
Chalk: Ben Roethlisberger ($7,600). Big Ben struggled in Week 1 on the road in poor weather, but he’s historically better at home and he draws the Chiefs this week, who gave up 424 yards and three scores in Week 1. This pace-up game also has the highest projected over/under of the week.
Contrarian: Matthew Stafford ($7,700). Stafford was abysmal in Week 1, but he has far too many weapons at his disposal to remain a dumpster fire all year. He’ll be low-owned, and the Lions-49ers tilt has the third-highest over/under of the week.
