As we head into Week 8 of the NFL season, it’s time for a look at the top cash game plays in FanDuel DFS games for fantasy football purposes.
Winning FanDuel cash game lineups continue to have one common theme across them. If you can have an accurate projection on a player’s potential targets and volume within an offense, you can find the best cash game plays of the week. That’s our overall goal here within this weekly article. Fine-tuning the best process in order to play the highest scoring cash game lineups possible. Let’s see what Week 8 has in store for us.
Quarterbacks
Week 8 has a plethora of high-scoring games at our disposal to choose from. There’s one particular game with quarterbacks on both sides of the ball that merit cash game consideration.
Jameis Winston has been on fire since his return to action, putting up 32.7 and 22.1 FD points since the team's Week 5 bye. Without much of a run game to lean on, the Bucs have thrown it on nearly 65% of their plays and Winston is slinging it. He's put up 300-plus passing yards in each game, 84 combined rushing yards, and five total touchdowns. Cincinnati has allowed at least 20 fantasy points to six of their first seven opposing quarterbacks they’ve faced and rank top-five in completions, passing yards, and passing touchdowns against.
After an embarrassing prime-time performance last week, Andy Dalton and this Bengals squad will look to get things right playing at home against this historically porous Tampa Bay secondary. The Buccaneers have also allowed at least 20 fantasy points to all of the quarterbacks they’ve faced except one and continue to be a defense we target in DFS. With opposing quarterbacks averaging league-highs in passing touchdowns (18), passing yards per game (328), and passer rating (125.8), Dalton looks primed for a big outing as a safe cash play.
